We are instructed to love our enemies, for our battle is not with people but the ideology.
Ephesians 6:12 - For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Proverbs 16:18 18 Pride goeth before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
The Alabama court ruled state bans on gay marriage aren't discriminatory since they ban both men and women from marrying people of the
same sex, and it said the laws have a rational basis because they are meant to recognize and encourage ties "between children and their
Saying "Jesus loves everyone" is actually a tacit admission that sin has occurred. Does that mean Jesus accepts sinful behavior? 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. In a deliberate twisting of the Word, "gay" theology will say the Bible references to homosexuality, the laws, God's punishments, etc., are not
for what they call "people born that way," but instead only apply to heterosexuals who disingenuously perform homosexual acts.
You hear Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, not because of sinful, lustful homosexual behavior, but because the people were "inhospitable."
So, you ask, "God would rain 6000 degree fire and brimstone, totally obliterating everything, simply because the people were less than friendly?" 2 Peter 2:6-8 6 if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked 8 (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard);
Sounds a bit more serious than "unwelcoming."
Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things (see Romans 1:18-32) deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
James 1:13-15 13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
Psalms 1:1-2 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
From Bryan Fischer: Homosexual activists are fond of quoting the first half of John 8:11: "Neither do I condemn you." They are not so fond of quoting the second half, "go and sin no more."
In fact, they quite pointedly ignore it as if it weren't even there. But wishing it away doesn't make it disappear.Read more
2 Timothy 4:1-4 1 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
When sinful behavior of any sort is addressed, most of us, at the very least, will acknowledge that we are indeed committing a sin. The
only infractions which seem to elicit denial are those of unnatural sexual behavior or attractions.
"It's not unnatural to me!"
"You are judging me. Jesus said not to judge."
Surely, we are not to judge, as in "I judge that you shall be punished in Hell."
But, just as surely, we are not to let others commit sins where we ignore or affirm what they do. We are to use the Scriptures to
reprove, rebuke, administer reproof, exhort, admonish, teach and correct. These actions are often interpreted as "judging."
The Bible is very clear on when to rebuke and when to be rebuked, and how we should handle each: Proverbs 27:5 - Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Proverbs 28:23 - Whoever rebukes a person will in the end gain favor, rather than one who has a flattering tongue.
Imaging that! It's better to help correct than it is to affirm sinful behavior. Proverbs 13:18 - Poverty and disgrace come to him who ignores instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is honored.
We are to correct those who stray from the Word, and in being corrected, are rewarded.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Believers are instructed to "restore" other believers who have strayed: Galatians 6:1
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Indeed, God commanded the people of Israel to speak to the wicked: Ezekiel 33:7-9 7 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 8 When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 9 But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.
"What I do used to be a sin, but not anymore, since Jesus died for my sins."
Women were sold into slavery as wives, so we've changed God's definition of marriage.
"Who are you to talk? You are wearing a hat made of 2 different fibers. The Bible says that's a sin!" Christ fulfilled the ceremonial laws and we are now bound to Him and follow His Word and are released from the old way. He did not abolish the moral laws. Romans 7:1-6 1 Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives? 2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man. 4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.
In reality, many LGBTQ people claim to be atheists and are often pro-abortion (the 2 go hand in hand when it comes to legislation. They are almost always on the same side in school health curriculum, discrimination, anti-bullying laws, etc.).
Is it because they cannot accept a God who's laws are opposite of their beliefs? They have no need even for "gay theology."
Do they recognize that Pride is a deadly sin? Like the theft and pervertion of God's Rainbow, are they trying to spin a sin into a positive attribute?
Do you worship the Earth and a world view instead of God? James 4:4, 4:6 44 You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. 6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
John 16:2 - Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God
Luke 17:26-27 26 Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark,
and the flood came and destroyed them all.
1 Corinthians 16:22 In the Words of the Apostle Paul, If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed! Come, Lord
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Genesis 6:12-13 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.
Genesis 6:17-19 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.
The homosexual movement usurped God's Rainbow, the symbol of His Covenant with Man not to destroy the Earth again with a global flood which He brought upon the people because of the very same wickedness of those who today, ironically and mockingly, use the rainbow as their symbol.
Genesis 9:8-17 8Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9“I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” 17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
Genesis 2:18-25 18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” 19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23 The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.” 24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. 25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
Ephesians 5:33 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
It's really hard for the "gay" theologists to get past these words!
What part of "man" and "woman" are they just not getting?
What Jesus says about marriage:
Mark 10:5-9, (also Matthew 19:4-6 & Genesis 2:24) 5 “It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied. 6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
To quote Matt Barber: Jesus did not say: “At the beginning the Creator made them lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT). For this reason a male, female or shemale will leave his, her or whatchahoozie’s father and mother, father and father or mother and mother and be united to his or her wife – and/or husband – and the two or more will become one flesh. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
The Bible clearly distinguishes between and puts into context that of "man, woman, husband and wife." No mention of marriage and concerns for man and man, or woman and woman, or for multiple partners. When it's pointed out that 2 "married" men can't bear children of their own, "gay" theology is quick to say many heterosexual couples don't have children.
While marriage is for procreation, it is just as important if a couple is or becomes childless. A married couple (as defined above), in the eyes of the Lord, is two people joined together to make one.
Proverbs 18:22 22He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord
1 Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” 2 But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. 3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 6 I say this as a concession, not as a command. 7 I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that. 8 Now to the unmarried and the widows (and widowers) I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. 10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. 12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. 15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
Notice that "husband and husband" or "wife and wife" are not mentioned. Surely, if there is some kind of "equality" in same-sex relationships, that would have been covered.
But, because homosexual acts are an abomination to God, they're not even considered.

The Bible references to homosexuality...
What does Jesus say? Matthew 15:16-20 16“Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality*, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.” * translated from "pornea", "includes all sexual sins prohibited in the Old Testament, such as pre-marital sex, adultery, homosexuality, incest, and bestiality.
Mark 7:20-23 (Jesus is speaking) 20 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. 21 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality*, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
* Again, this would be inclusive of all the sexually immoral sins as given in the laws to Moses
John 14:15 15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
1 Thesolonians 4:3-8 3 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; 6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. 7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.
Genesis 19:3-5 3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a
meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom - both young
and old - surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that
we can have sex with them." Is it any wonder God unleashed his wrath on Sodom? In more modern times, Pompeii and Herculaneum are destroyed in a similar manner and every year reveals
what would have brought about God's wrath on them. With the truth in front of them, reporters in their writings celebrate the depravity instead
of recognizing it for what it is:Pompeii story 1 - Pompeii story 2 - [PDFs] 2 Kings 23:7-8 7 And he broke down the houses of the male cult prostitutes who were in the house of the Lord, where
the women wove hangings for the Asherah. 8 And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the
priests had made offerings, from Geba to Beersheba.
Note 2 things here: The sinners defiled the temple and always go into and defile the holiest of God's places.
Secondly, Asherah was the mother of all the false gods and they worshiped her in the temple, too, breaking the most important of the 10 commandments, the first: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
Deuteronomy 22:5 5 “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.
Romans 1:26-27 (Read Romans 1:18-32 for full context of God's wrath) 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Galatians 5:19-21 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Timothy 1:9-11 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
Leviticus 18:22-30 22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. 23 " 'Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must
not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. 24 “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. 25 Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. 26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things, 27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. 28 And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you. 29 “‘Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people. 30 Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”
Leviticus 20:13-16 13 " 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what
is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. 14 " 'If a man marries both a woman and her mother, it is wicked. Both he and they must be
burned in the fire, so that no wickedness will be among you. 15 " 'If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal. 16 " 'If a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the woman and the animal.
They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
Judges 19:22 22 While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the
house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the
man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."
The look on their faces testifies against them;
they parade their sin like Sodom;
they do not hide it.
Woe to them!
They have brought disaster upon themselves.
Leviticus 18:24-25 24 “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out
before you became defiled. 25 Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.
Hebrews 13:4 4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled,
for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
1 Corinthians 6:9-20 9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:
Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual
offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit
the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 12 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
2 Peter 2:6-10 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh[c] and despise authority.
Jude 1:7 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality
and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
Ephesians 5:3-5 3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Revelation 21:6-8 6He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Psalms 2:1
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Proverbs 16:18 18 Pride goeth before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
The Call of Wisdom Proverbs 1:20-33
20 Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the markets she raises her voice; 21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: 22 “How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge? 23 If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you. 24 Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded, 25 because you have ignored all my counsel
and would have none of my reproof, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when terror strikes you, 27 when terror strikes you like a storm
and your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
when distress and anguish come upon you. 28 Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer;
they will seek me diligently but will not find me. 29 Because they hated knowledge
and did not choose the fear of the Lord, 30 would have none of my counsel
and despised all my reproof, 31 therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way,
and have their fill of their own devices. 32 For the simple are killed by their turning away,
and the complacency of fools destroys them; 33 but whoever listens to me will dwell secure
and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”
Is God pro-life?
Deuteronomy 30:19 - I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live. Psalm 127:3 - “Truly children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward”
Ruth 4:13 - So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son.
Psalm 139:13-17 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!
Psalm 22:10-11 - “You have been my guide since I was first formed … from my mother’s womb you are my God” Jeremiah 1:5 - “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart” Exodus 20:13 - “You shall not kill”
What's in the womb is a "baby, a child" - nothing less: Luke 1:41, 44 - (where the “baby [John the Baptist] … leapt for joy” in his mother’s womb when the baby Jesus was nearby in Mary’s womb. Matthew 1:23 - Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. John 16:21 - When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
From Michael Brown:
First, the Word teaches that God carefully and lovingly formed us in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16).
Second, it teaches the personhood of the baby in the womb (Luke 1:41-42).
Third, it teaches the potential destiny of each child in the womb (Genesis 25:23; Jeremiah 1:5; Galatians 1:15).
Fourth, it teaches the importance of caring for “the least of these,” the most vulnerable and hurting (Matthew 18:1-6, 10; 25:31-46).
Fifth, it teaches us to stand up for the innocent being led to slaughter (Proverbs 24:11-12).
Sixth, it teaches us that God hates the shedding of innocent blood, especially of babies (see, for example, Jeremiah 7:30-34; 17:1-6; Proverbs 6:17).
