Jared Ravizza, the Martha’s Vineyard man accused of stabbing four children at an AMC movie theater in Braintree and two people at a McDonald’s in Plymouth, has a “heart of gold,” according to an article written about him last year.

Ravizza, 26, of Chilmark, who is accused of stabbing six people on Saturday, May 25, had a glowing article written about him by Beverly Hills Magazine in January 2023, as NewBostonPost previously reported.

However, it turns out, this was a pay-to-play article. It’s the kind that costs $350, the publication told NewBostonPost.

“For Business Leader Profiles or Personal Interviews, Brand Features, or Real Estate Property Features the fee is $350,” Beverly Hills Magazine told NewBostonPost in an email message. “These include a Social Media Ad shared across all our platforms.”

“If you would like to proceed, we will send you the invoice once paid,” the publication added. “You would provide us with your website. Any other articles pertaining to you and we would send you the Q&A and also you would provide us with photos and we will get it published ASAP.”

The publication wrote a business leader profile about the transgender individual, who identifies as a “she” on Instagram.

The title described Ravizza as a “modern marketing mogul” and the article called him a “beautiful soul.”

“Many people find a sense of fulfillment and purpose in working to make positive changes in the world,” the article said. “They derive a deep sense of satisfaction in knowing that their efforts positively impact others, contributing to a better world. One such beautiful soul is Jared Ravizza. He is a man with an innate desire to bring out the best in other humans in the most beautiful way.”

“From business, to social media, to philanthropy, Jared Ravizza is contributing his gifts to the world. In this exclusive interview, we learn more about the CEO and founder of Ravizza Group,” the article added.

Additionally, the article said Ravizza was involved with many charitable causes but never mentioned any organizations he supported or how he supported them.

“To bring hope to the hungry, homeless, trafficked, and sick people worldwide, the Ravizza Group has partnered with several organizations,” the article said. “Even more, this worldwide mission project collaborates with organizations to offer restoration and healing to communities in need. Additionally, the global initiative project exists for the abandoned to spread light, hope, and healing around the world. Furthermore, it aims to assist in establishing the framework for potential future developments. A noble endeavor if we must say!”

NewBostonPost was unable to find anything online about these purported charitable contributions from Ravizza Group.

Ravizza, faces charges of “assault with intent to murder, and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon,” according to a press release from Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz’s office. Police arrested him in Sandwich last Saturday night.

Beverly Hills Magazine is a primarily online publication that covers entertainment and fashion. It features many advertorials, like the article written about Ravizza.

Five Things To Know About The AMC Braintree and Plymouth McDonald’s Suspect Jared Ravizza

Printed from: https://newbostonpost.com/2024/05/27/five-things-to-know-about-the-amc-braintree-and-plymouth-mcdonalds-suspect-jared-ravizza/

Six people were stabbing victims in two possibly related incidents in Massachusetts on Saturday, May 25.

First, someone stabbed four girls at the AMC movie theatre in Braintree; they were between the ages of 9 and 17. Then, an hour later, someone stabbed a 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man at a McDonald’s in Plymouth. None of the victims died in the attacks.

The suspect, Jared Ravizza, faces charges of “assault with intent to murder, and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon,” according to a press release from Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz’s office. Police arrested him in Sandwich on Saturday night.

So who exactly is Ravizza? Here are five things you should know about the suspect.

1.  He identifies as a she

Ravizza’s Instagram profile lists “she” as a preferred pronoun. So while the suspect is male and has a male name, Ravizza identifies as transgender.

Here is a screenshot of Ravizza’s Instagram account:

2.  Attended a conservative college

There aren’t that many conservative colleges out there. Weirdly enough, Ravizza went to one — in Massachusetts.

Ravizza attended Gordon College during the 2016-2017 school year and was a backup midfielder on its NCAA Division 3 men’s lacrosse team.

It’s unclear if Ravizza graduated from the private Christian school in Wenham, Massachusetts. However, Ravizza only played one season of lacrosse at it.

3.  Drives a Porsche

Porsche is one of the most recognizable luxury brand cars in the world.

At the time of his arrest, Ravizza was driving a black 2018 Porsche Macan, according to the press release from Cruz’s office.

4.  Claimed to be a professional skier

The suspect was identified as a professional skier in multiple interviews in 2021 — including one with Thrive Global and another with Vents Magazine.

NewBostonPost this weekend couldn’t find any evidence beyond the interviews that Ravizza skied professionally.

5.  Was once described as having a “heart of gold”

Though our criminal justice system alleges that this man stabbed several innocent people, including small children, Beverly Hills Magazine described Ravizza as someone with a “heart of gold” in a January 9, 2023 article.

“Jared Ravizza is a renowned American model, social media influencer, entrepreneur, and fitness influencer with a heart of gold,” the article said.

The article says Ravizza had involvement with many charitable causes, without mentioning any organizations he supported or what he did to support them.

NewBostonPost could not find anything online this weekend about Ravizza Group’s purported charitable contributions.
